2013-14 Federal Grant Export

This release modifies 2013-14 Federal Grant reporting to remove padding from fields inside the XML tags and remove blank lines. COD has recently modified their processing requirements and no longer allows padded data fields.

For example, before this release, fields with variable lengths would be created as:

<TotalCount>       21</TotalCount>

When this release is applied, these fields will be created as:

<TotalCount>21</TotalCount>

A subsequent release item will address parallel changes for 2013-14 Direct Loan exporting.

Implementation Notes

• This item is required at all client sites.
• Load the updated module from the SYSOBJH input file (sy130502.txt) in the attached zip file. Or, you may apply source changes manually for the updated modules. Click on the "mods" link next to the module name for the Differences Report, which shows the previous and current versions of the module side by side. For a further description of the Differences features, click the "Help" link at the top right when the report is displayed.
